Shipping information
This document covers all aspects of delivery and shipping of items that purchased on Local Shop Hub.
As a base, all items are shipped from the Republic of Ireland unless it is clearly stated on the relevant Business' page.
At the checkout process, you can see the total price you pay for the items and the delivery charge. That is the price you pay and items are not subject to any other charges if delivery address is in the Republic of Ireland.
If you wish to deliver the ordered items outside of Republic of Ireland, you should contact the relevant Business before placing your order requesting quote for shipping charge.
Shipping to United Kingdom or outside of European Union
Please note if you wish to deliver your items to United Kingdom or anywhere outside EU, the quoted shipping charge covers the shipping itself to your country (and your address) but it does NOT include any tax, customs or any other fee that you are liable for in your country. Local Shop Hub and Business do not liable to any tax or any extra charges you need to pay for receiving your items.
If your delivery address is to the UK or anywhere outside EU, you may have to pay import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. You must meet any additional charges for customs clearance.
Being aware of your local tax laws is your responsibility, and Local Shop Hub and any participating Businesses are unable to refund any amount charged at the point of delivery as we do not receive any amount of these additional taxes.
